Perfect, beautiful cardigan

The 1940s cardigan in emerald green is a dream! It goes perfectly with the suede pump "Edith". I chose a larger size ( XL for my measurments :[****], normal torso, 169 cm) than recommended, it´s slightly broad over the shoulders, but I will take it in. It fits over the chest and waist, but not stretched, as I don´t like when the second layer fits like underwear, or to stretch over the bust when buttoned. If you like it tight then perhaps go with the size chart. I got it in the burgundy colour as well-equally beautiful! The quality seems really good, haven´t washed it yet of course but the cardigan is very soft to the touch, evenly and correctly knitted. The fit is very good, length too, some vintage clothes ( from other brands) are not correct in length, cardigans should sit on the top if the hip bone, not finish in the waist like a bolero. Just take a look at old movies! I am also very happy with the price, and with the delivery service, last order took two working days from order to delivering -to Sweden!

Beautiful Cardigan

The cardigan is really beautiful, and the design is absolutely adorable. The material is very soft and warm, perfect for winter. Unfortunately, it starts to pill after one day of wear. I will try to solve the problem by regularly using a lint shaver. It's also important to mention that the cardigan is really very short. The size chart wasn't much help, as it says that size S is 51 cm long. My cardigan is only 48.5 cm long. I measured it at the top edge of the collar (and not at the shoulders) as shown in the “size chart” drawing. So be careful if you have a long torso. Otherwise, highly recommended. 💕

Our cardigan is based on an origianl vintage cardigan, meant to fit high waisted skirts and pants fashionable in the 1940s and 1950s. I'll definitely take your feedback on the size chart with me further, we'd like our measurements to be as precise as possible.
