These boots fit me fine in the length however I really needed a 3X wide boot and this boot is not it.
I emailed the company and they maintain it is 3X wide, but I can barely get my foot into it and it’s extremely tight.
I asked if it would stretch and they said no more than a quarter to a half inch and that isn’t going to be enough.
If you return the boot, it has to be in the original condition so it’s not like you can wear it for a month or two to see if it’s gonna stretch enough to fit, so I’m going to have to return it. It’s looking like I have no other option but to find someone that makes custom-made boots.
Really sad, if I was a standard size and would’ve worked out perfectly
Dear Christine. I'm glad to hear you like the look and the quality of the Ruth boots, but of course sorry to hear they didn't fit you well. As I wrote in our email exchange, our wide styles are two sizes up in the width, while the length remains the same and are based on shoe last EEE and are mainly wider around the front of the feet. We strive to make shoes and boots that fit most feet, but all feet are different, and sometimes it's unfortunately just not a match. It is also an option for you to go a size up in the wide style, but this will also add 7mm to the length. As said, the leather will expand over time, but I cannot promise it will expand enough for it to be comfortable for you, and we cannot take the shoes back once they've been broken in.

This cardigan is beautifully made, it's light and soft, not the bulky itchy woolen sweater you would think of when you read 'merino' ^^
The colour is a subtle night blue, softer and a little lighter than a navy blue, which is exactly what I like. The only thing that makes me a little sad is that I have long arms and the sleeves do not go until their end 😅 But I like it so I kept it! 💙

The cream colour is a fabulous delicate shade, not white nor ivory, but a very slightly pinkish soft cream — a rare colour. The only thing that makes me a little sad is that I have long arms and the sleeves do not go until their end 😅 But I like it so I kept it!

Really great shoes , stylish and comfortable. I wish there had been a label to say there was a protective coating on the soles as I didn’t realise and now that I have danced in them am finding it impossible to remove but it makes the shoes very slippery.

Such a flattering design, when I took them out of the box, I really thought they would be too small as the design is so neat but the slipped onto my feet like a glove. The suede is gorgeous and fine and the rosette adds such a beautiful detail.

Meget flotte sko, og de er af virkelig god kvalitet. Jeg sætter pris på, at der medfølger ekstra såler til hælene og ekstra snørebånd.

So so gorgeous and unbelievably comfortable!! I travelled in these for 12+ hours, no problem. At one point I had to stand in place for over an hour and a half, but felt absolutely no pain, which is crazy given the heel. Honestly, the only downside is how long it takes to lace them up, but you get used to it. (Comes out to about 4 minutes, yes, I timed it). Amazing shoes, and likely not my last pair from Memery :)))))

These are my absolute favorite pair of boots! I wanted a pointy toed boot that made my foot look narrow and dainty while still being comfortable and these fit the bill! You won’t regret it! Buy them!

Well made, attractive boot, but make sure you don't have to leave the house in a hurry! They take a while to put on due to the fact that you have to unlace them as far as the ankle to get them on.....a real pain. I've not worn mine yet.....simply for this reason, so can't comment on their comfort factor. In fact, I'm deciding whether or not to keep them. I take my footwear off when visiting friends and this boot is a no no for that!. No issues with the quality which is excellent as are all Memery shoes.

I ordered about a year ago the black edwardian walking boots and I just love them, the first pair of shoes (with a little heel) that I can wear at work all day long (I have to stand a lot and walk often quite far) and I thought since there was a sale I would buy the pair in brown as well. First of all the boots are so beautiful, I can't wait to wear them out. They make every outfit special and elegant. Second they fit like a glove, I am a little concerned that the leather is a little stiffer than the black ones. But I'm sure after wearing them once or twice it's going to be as good as the black ones!

I love it! The colour and fit was very similar to the picture. It was a bit thicker (and warmer) than I expected but I think that’s just me not owning similar sweaters before. Would recommend to anyone who asks!
