I had been mulling over which Memery shoes purchase as my first pair since autumn of last year. I was greatly torn between four styles but couldn’t justify ordering all at once. I finally settled on these; Marie in Cognac Brown. They arrived quickly and well packed! And any worries that I maybe should have ordered a different style were erased as soon as I unpacked them. It was love at first sight. They are beautiful, no, stunning. I have gotten loads of compliments already and I’ve only had them two weeks, from both friends in vintage scene AND non-vintagey friend and family. They are the most elegant shoes I have ever owned. I didn’t know a person could be so smitten with a pair of shoes, but here I am. And they are incredibly comfortable too! Didn’t need to break them in and was able to walk in them for hours at the first go! Could not recommend these shoes or Memery enough! I will be ordering from Memery again, and again, and again.

I was very excited waiting on my all leather shoes to arrive. Although they fit (and I am very accustomed to wearing a 41), I was hoping they would have more of an arch in the shoe. They gape at the inner side where my ankle is located. So, I purchased some cushioners for the ball of my foot where it should push my foot to the heel of the shoe hopefully alleviating the gaping. I love the style and quality of the shoes.

I’m so happy with these shoes! They go with almost every outfit… They’re super comfortable to walk in, true the size as always for me, surprisingly stable, even though the heel is a bit higher and thinner than usual! So no need to worry about twisting your ankle. The leather is buttery soft and these beauties don’t need any breaking in. Almost all shoes give me blisters, but not these. The perfect shoes for both summer and winter! I can’t wait for the warmer days…
A week later, I got the notification that my dream shoes from Memery were back in stock. I couldn’t order them fast enough! Unfortunately, something went wrong with the transaction, which was really frustrating, but Mette was super communicative, and we were able to find a solution together. I love Memery <3. These shoes are comfortable even though the heel is high, which is all because of the interior cushioning and the perfect positioning of the heel. The pretty details along with the lace up high heel shoe give them a sexy librarian vibe.
