I have bought several pair of this type of shoe over the years from Memery and have yet to be disappointed. They may be a little more expensive than you would pay on the high street but the quality of the shoe ensures you will get years of wear from them. They are so comfortable and look great. The size of the shoe fits me perfectly so not much worry about the sizes being wrong and having to send back. Will definitely buy again and again.

I am stilling in the process of having to stretch the leather as they rub under my ankle and across the top of and each side my foot near my toes.
The one really difficult aspect of these Mary Janes is trying to get the little button through the button holes!! I am also trying to stretch and soften that and the strap as well. So to date I have not been able to wear these shoes out. I am persevering though, but to be honest if I had tried these on in a shop I probably would not have bought them.

Really pleased with these shoes. Very comfortable. I have a wider toe box, but they fit well and the tapered toe looks very pretty.

Much like my first pair of Memery shoes, these are lovely and well made in person! They came with extra buttons and are clearly made to last. I usually wear a US size 8.5, so I sized up to a 9 like with my first pair of Memery shoes (the Betty 1930s boots with the cute little collar). I was happy with the shoe sizing itself, it seemed to fit comfortably as a Mary Jane style shoe should where it's not too tight in the toes or heels and there's a small gap so your feet aren't cramped, so the size 9 seemed just right and any smaller I am quite sure would have been too small, especially when wearing with socks.

To my surprise, as I like to think I have pretty normally proportioned feet, the strap was too loose with seemingly no way to adjust it as is! There was maybe half an inch of a gap between the top of my foot and the strap. However, I decided to keep them and solved the minor issue by sewing up the elastic and sewing the button to the base of the elastic near where it meets the leather of the shoe. That seemed to solve my problem and now the strap still has a little give because of keeping the elastic and just adjusting the button down further. They seem to fit as intended now!

I still recommend these, just keep in mind you might need to find a way to adjust them more specifically to your foot shape since it's a button and elastic combination and not an adjustable buckle or laces. I will still happily buy more shoes from here, though! These are very adorable and a classic look in person, I just had to find a way to make them work and I'm glad I did!

The shoes are beautifully made & are exactly as they appeared on the website. They were speedily dispatched & well packaged. I have wider than average feet & I was expecting the fit to be a bit snug. This was easily solved using a shoe stretcher (which I often use for new shoes).
I was surprised that I had to pay almost £50 to the Royal Mail before the shoes could be delivered. This covered unpaid VAT & also Duty charged by HM Customs & Excise. Made the purchase price rather high & will influence my decisions on future purchases.

Lovely shoes but they are quite narrow, recommend sizing up if you are used to a more barefoot shoe

My shoes are lovely. They're so soft and comfortable. They're for a wedding in March so I haven't worn them outside yet. I'm sure they'll be lovely. The service was very good. The one criticism I'd make is the extra Customs Fee I had to pay which did make them very expensive. That's not the sellers fault but it came as a bit of a shock. I don't remember seeing anything on the website about this but maybe I didn't check, so my fault. For that reason I've said 4 stars. I would recommend the product though.

I love the shoes, it is pretty hard to find shoes that fit my feet, as they are pretty narrow, but these shoes fit perfectly and are really comfortable.

I am thrilled with my new shoes; the style and quality are fantastic and Mette was very understanding when I needed to exchange them as I had ordered the wrong size. Thank you so much!
